have you had any luck playing the game? When I tried briefly yesterday, it kept on telling me that my maps were different from those on the servers! This is a NEW game! how could I have any maps.. damn Steam.. damn Valve!

I was able to play, thankfully.
I also found out why Source games give me a headache and make me nauseous... The default FOV is freakishly low and will kill any man using a wide-screen display.
Thankfully it can be changed with a console command: fov 90
